I am one of those sensitive people according to a DNA test and was told to eat cabbage, but I also have thyroid problems.
I did read though that cooking these cabbage family veggies inactivates the goitrogens that interferes with thyroid hormone synthesis. So to eat or not to eat slaw?

Sauerkraut's probably safer..because even if it isnt cooked, its fermented.
